Redondo Beach - Where Luxury and Family Living Intersect

The City of Redondo Beach is rich in history; the modern-day Hopkins Wilderness Park was used  as a lookout spot by Native People, and tourists could be found gathering shore-swept moonstones from Moonstone Beach after storms. Today, the City of Redondo Beach lives on as a popular tourist attraction, drawing visitors to its relaxing seaside atmosphere, lush Mediterranean resorts, and a variety of dining and shopping experiences at its pier and harbor. Redondo Beach is home to various professional athletes and celebrities, and is known for its family-friendly, laid-back atmosphere and surf culture.

Located in the South Bay area of Los Angeles County, Redondo Beach was ranked as one of the best Southern California cities for young families by consumer advocacy site, Nerd Wallet (2014), and was named one of the 10 best places to live in California by  SmartTravel.tips. The latter added cities based on quality of living and school systems, weather, and commute times, to name just a few criteria. Every year, Redondo Beach hosts one of Southern California's longest-running kite festivals, as well as Walkabout Redondo, an event where local residents and tourists can casually interact with businesses on Artesia Boulevard.
